Artist Statement Time suspended, a snapshot of people; those lasting moments with their serene atmosphere let our imagination weave a story about the images and their subjects. All these photographs were taken spontaneously without any previous agreement with the subject. What I am looking for is that element of surprise.
A journey through images, faces, and landscapes with a detailed portrait approach in which the framing has been selected according to the dominant feeling of the region. The photographs of the Hands & Feets serie were taken in Annapurna, Nepal; in the Agra region of India; on the Inca trail at Machu Picchu, Peru; and in the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco.
