Artist Statement A friend of mine told me about something extraordinary that had happened to a friend of hers, and I awarded him "Man Points" for his accomplishment. She asked if there were any documented Man Points charts. Two months later, my design was complete. I created silhouettes of specific objects and arranged them on the poster to help create a dynamic shape that could properly frame the text, and made the edges of the larger shape appear distressed to add to the impact of the poster. The content inside the block is a small list of the hundreds of ways a man can earn the coveted Man Points. The original list is over 250 actions; it was taken down to this smaller list to account for readability.
