Description Commander of the 3rd Group of JG-26 at Audembert, France during the Battle of Britain. To train his new pilots during the Battle of Britain, he would leave the trainees circling at a high altitude over France and fly over the channel until he spotted some RAF fighters. He would then turn back toward France with the RAF in pursuit and let his young pilots jump the unsuspecting British pilots. He ended the war as one of the highest scoring aces and commander of the elite Me 262 jet fighter squadron JG-44.Asked by Goring during the Battle of Britain what he could do to help him defeat the RAF, Galland replied, 'I should like an outfit of Spitfires.'The illustration of the Me-109 is highly detailed down to the rivets, panel lines and weathering...an active fighter doesn't look perfect. Illustration of the pilot was done on a Wacom tablet.
