Description The waning moon is perfectly reflected beside Rocky Mountain peaks glowing in the first light of morning. Details: This pristine little pond lies below Cottonwood Pass just north of Mount Princeton in central Colorado in a place called Spring Canyon. Most years, there would be no reflection because this pond would still be frozen over in mid-March, but an unseasonably warm winter made this beautiful reflection possible. The peak in the background is a part of Mount Princeton called 'the Hook,' which has a unique curved peak.
