Artist Statement I am a photographer, naturalist, explorer and writer working on a mission to documenting wildlife and environmental issues that defines our time. Working mainly in ‘Terai’ and ‘Dooars’ steretches in our northern part of West Bengal. Since 2009 I have been working in Indo-Nepal border area regarding human-elephant conflict issues. Many of my photographs, documentation already published in various magazine and journals. I have been selected by the National Geographic in an assignment called ‘’URBAN WILDLIFE’’. I collaborate with wildlife researcher, conservationist and educators on conservation action, education and projects. Since 2009 I have actively work with a volunteer organization called Paschimbanga Vigyan Mancha (P.B.V.M) and Forest official in various campaign and program. One of my recent project “Identification Key of Loner and Maljurian of Kurseong Division” soon yet to be published. Apart from that focusing on wetland conservation effort in our northern West Bengal part, especially Mahananda and Teesta basin. Besides this daily basis workshop and awareness program is part of my job.
