Description Red leaves of autumn frame the stone towers of the National Cathedral.Details: This image was taken on a fine October morning at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. A wide-angle lens was used to capture the tall scene and results in the exaggerated angles of the church which helps accentuate the height of the structure. This image was captured in HDR to preserve the detail in the shadow of the structure even though it was heavily back lit by the morning sun.
