Description The dramatic desert Ocotillo reaches upward many feet growing as tall as nearby trees. It can shed and grow new leaves six to eight times each year. The Ocotillo's clusters of flame-red flowers at the tips of their stems produce nectar for the hummingbirds. This is a Polaroid emulsion lift-off transfer.
Joanne Netland Member Since May 2007 Artist Statement IS IT A PHOTOGRAPH OR A PAINTING?
Much of my work involves photographing with Polaroid film that I hand-manipulate with tools or transfer by hand onto watercolor paper to create a painterly effect. These serve as originals for giclee prints on the paper you select or printing on canvas. You can go further and choose the mat, glaze and frame making this a truly personal expression. Considering the price and quality of workmanship that Imagekind provides this could be a rewarding experience for you or your client.
