Artist Statement Ian Broadmore Photography is a freelance and fine art photographer based in Kent, United Kingdom with a relaxed friendly approach specialising in stylish modern photography at popular UK and London locations and venues.

I have been interested in photography since I was 16 and my early photographic passion was towards black and white , I started out with a Russian made Zenith EF2 camera and quickly progressed onto a Canon AE1. Nowdays I use professional Nikon equipment and Nikkor lenses as I believe they provide fantastic pin sharp,crystal clear images.

Like most photographers I have experimented with different formats : Landscape, Portrait, Wildlife, Nature, Macro, Commercial, Street Photography, but my passion lies in Macro Photography, Commercial and Artistic, and I am heavily influenced by black and white as I believe you actually see more of the image due to the variations in light and shade.

I have a great eye for seeing the unusual in the usual and offering creative input into any commercial project and I like to take risks and try new ideas.
