Description The perceptions of this work vary, some see this as grass or a field of grain or perhaps straw. But look closely and it will reveal a paint brush magnified closely where paint can be seen holding to each synthetic fiber. A beautiful wash of color and texture makes this a contemporary artistic work.
Corrine Ellsworth, London Member Since June 2007 Artist Statement Corrine Ellsworth is a young artist and designer born in the Western US and living in London. She has earned a Masters of Fine Art degree in 2003 and a Masters of Philosophy in Design in 2007. She is an author, an educator and is currently doing doctoral research on using visuals to communicate globally in the field of breast cancer.
Her most recent artworks include "white river" and "red curtain" an exploration of a new technique she has developed using watercolors and digital media to create oversized paintings rich in detail and colour. This technique is being transferred to a wallcoverings line, viewable at wallskin.co.uk.
