Artist Statement Hello,

I live in the middle Georgia area where I have lived most of my life. I officially began my artistic journey in January 2020 after a 40 year hiatus. Having been exposed to art in junior high school many many years ago I discovered I had a talent for art especially drawing.

My passion is painting landscapes, seascapes, marshlands and golf courses especially the beaches and marshes of Georgia and South Carolina. I'm primarily self-taught and have my own approach to, and definition of, art. I believe that inspiration can be found all around us.
