Description Title: Red Horse.Creation Date: 28 March 2017.Series: FIRE PORTRAITS .Series Years: 2016 - 2017.Series Influence: Steven Brust's novel, 'TO REIGN IN HELL'.About this Fire Portrait. This subject, the Red Horse, is not in the Brust story, but I have created both character-portraits from the story, and those that could be in the story, but not named, and, other creatures that fall into, the 'dark-side'.Red Horse:'The second horseman, War on the Red Horse as depicted in a thirteenth-century Apocalypse manuscript. When He broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, Come. And another, a red horse, went out; and to him who sat on it, it was granted to take peace from the earth, and that men would slay one another; and a great sword was given to him.Revelation 6:3-4 NASBThe rider of the second horse is often taken to represent War (he is often pictured holding a sword upwards as though ready for battle) or mass slaughter. His horse's color is red (, from , fire); and in some translations, the colour is specifically a 'fiery' red. The color red, as well as the rider's possession of a great sword, suggests blood that is to be spilled.' (Source: The Four Horsemen, Wikipedia).Imagekind Photo Number: 2,202. I have been using a camera as a hobbyist since I was 12 years old, and then as a freelance professional since 1998.
Photography is a Madness for Me — My Work: I have been a long-time Freelance Stage & Dance Photographer; nevertheless, I focus much of my energy designing fine art Abstract, and, Abstract Expressionism Photography. I also design SMOKE-ART PHOTOGRAPHY, and that is the art style I focused on in my 2011 book, titled, ETHEREAL DREAMS and HOPE.
My Artistic Influences: My main artistic influences are Jackson Pollock and Robert Henri. As for photographic influences, I have always drawn inspiration from photographers Carl Fischer, and Andreas Feininger.
