Description In this painting a dark universe is pictured with colorful distracting flames emanating from the Lake of Hell Fire which holds countless tormented, misled souls. On the outside of the dark void is a shell which is symbolic of Christian baptism. Inside the walls, protected by the shell, are the many souls waiting to be reborn. The red color used to outline the spiraling shell walls represents the Holy Spirit which causes the souls sinful nature to be born again.Shooting out from the opening of the shell is the only star in the universe which shines bright enough for the unsaved souls to seek out its truth. It is the Star of David which represents the Shield of Solomon (The God of Israel). The limitless stars positioned one within another, shown inside the Star of David, represent God the Father as an eternal God known by such names as the Alpha & Omega, or the great I Am that I Am.The butterfly which depicts Jesus the Risen Savior, as a symbol of rebirth and resurrection, is seen descending from the Star of David, toward the earth, and is leading the infinite unsaved souls to a new life of eternal salvation. The entire painting is meant to represent the Trinity and the hope of salvation and eternal life with God in Heaven. When we receive the good news, and accept Christ Jesus and walk his path, the Holy Spirit changes us from our sinful nature, and we can be assured our soul is saved.
