Artist Statement i love making my small paper collages -- the juxtaposition of surprising elements is intuitive and helps me stay in the "flow." i collect books, vintage and found papers, tissue and patterned papers. they are randomly collected and stored in boxes in my studio. a tower of boxes:) my larger, mixed media works are more emotion laden and take much longer to finish. something may hang on my walls for months before i realize what i need to do to finish it. or that i need to start all over again!
