Description Taken at 6:15am 9.22.2007They say that the 3rd time is a charm, well they were right. I have visited this park 3 times. Timed everything to the second. Park opened at 6 I was set up for this shot 15 min later. I love it when a plan comes together...

Artist Statement My name is Shelly Alexander, a Seattle based general photographer. My gateway into photography has been as a retouch artist, a style derived from art and cinematography, based on light & shadow, contrast, hues and tones, developed with the teachings of my parents. I like to think of it this way, I am married to retouching; my mistress is photography.

Education: 1 year at the Art Institute of Chicago (while in 8th grade) major Fine Arts (yes I took a short bus to school)
Auburn University major Architecture
Self taught Photography with the help of Nikon School.

Who is/are my most inspiring photographer(s): Patrick Hoelck - a classic Noir lighting photographer (nuff said).
