Description I recently visited Taos for the first time, and now I know why New Mexico is called 'The Land Of Enchantment'. Spectacular sunsets, vast open vistas of desert, soaring mountains, alpine meadows....New Mexico has it all! This painting depicts two horses peacefully grazing in a lush green pasture, while the sun slowly sets on the horizon, bathing the clouds in an etheral pink glow. In the distance you see the adobe ranch house, built in the traditional Pueblo style of the Native Americans who were the original inhabitants of New Mexico.
