Artist Statement my name is courtney cooper rosen, and i have a wonderful husband named jon, and a beautiful daughter, taylor-marie.

my interest in photography started when i was in the eight grade. over the next few years it became clear to myself, and those around me how talented i actually was. when i entered the eleventh grade at oconee county high school i joined the yearbook staff as their photographer. at this point my interest in black and white photography suddenly peaked, and i began to learn everything i could. after graduating i attended college for a couple years, but decided to get married, and have a baby. after the baby was born i decided i needed to pursure more of my dreams and started my own photography studio.

i love to photograph children because they don't know how not to be themselves. i would have a ton myself if my husband would let me!
