Artist Statement I have loved to draw and paint since childhood. Art has always been a way for me to communicate my interpretation of the surrounding world. Our world is filled with unspeakable beauty and the only way for me to express it is through my paintbrush. Obviously, I love to paint waves and subjects related to surf culture. I am also drawn to the exotic and prefer vibrant and intense colors.

I want my paintings to inspire curiousity and joy when viewed by others. My subject matter is diverse and influenced by my travels. I want my paintings to evoke the sensation of truth and light in our everyday lives. I just want my art to make people feel happy.

I minored in Fine Art in college and that was where I really discovered my passion for painting in acrylics. My paintings often reflect my real life travels and adventures. Some of my other paintings are part of a wish list for my next destination.
