Description Its summer. The sky is aqua blue and filled with fluffy cumulous clouds. A field of black-eyed susans (Rudbeckia hirta) are in full bloom. Their petals are combination of orange and yellow, their centers brown. They grow amongst the grass under the heart-shaped tree with the heart-shaped leaves. A pair of summer tanagers (Piranga rubra) sit together in the branches of the tree. The male is on the left, his plumage bright red. The female is on the right, her plumage a deep yellow. Its a cheerful illustration perfect for bird enthusiasts and lovers of summer and whimsy.
