Artist Statement I am a landscape, coastal and seascape painter, working mainly in acrylics and watercolours. My influences have always been from nature and history, particularly from the English schools of watercolour painters, with a little splash of French impressionism thrown in to occasionally brighten the colour palette.
I have always been fascinated by the thought that painters do not simply paint what they see but what they have learned to see.
