Artist Statement Watching the subjects studying, interpreting and loving what is seen through the cameras eye is challenging and most of all exiting to me.
I love natural light Which I think is the best kind. Lighting is an essential tool in photography and also to understand light and capturing that photo is amazing.
My Canon camera has been like a painter’s brush in my hands. Since I was a young girl, I loved being on both sides of the camera. My love for photography also included all kinds of animals and traveling, which I had the opportunity to do much of in my younger years. I enjoyed drawing and painting buildings from my imagination, horses, and natural scenery.
Having a disability called Friedreich Ataxia, causes me to be somewhat disabled. But as you can see, it doesn’t stop me from my passion of photography. To find out more about this condition, go to http://www.curefa.org.
