Artist Statement Born in 1955, Sylvie is a French painter. Her grandparents are from Russia and Italy. Sylvie's artworks and paintings are based on a solid training:
• Bordeaux Fine Art School
• Graduate Fine Art Paris
• Graduate from the Academic Institut in Paris
• Graduate from the Academy Greci Marino.
'A passion for rhythm and color”, Sylvie is a true colorist she is fighting a real painting. Its best features: vivid color and generous laid in a thick impasto on canvas.
Expressive power, sweeping gesture, Sylvie takes us in an intense visual pleasure, because the result is as beautiful as a stained glass window through which the sun shines.
By the intensity of its pigments and the balance of its lines of force, Sylvie pigments teaches us how to watch colors.
Sylvie has found on the canvas all the impalpable and the evanescence of diaphanous colors laid in fluide films, in movements control, and where the female form, full and round found their peak.
As a ballet choreographer who building its playing space, light and movement, Sylvie allows color to dance.
Her work was presented in many exhibitions (Grand Palais in Paris, Centre Beaubourg in Paris, international exhibitions Franco-Greek, Turkish, Finn, Swiss, Italian, European, but also in various galleries in France and in foreign countries ).
She was the guest of Porto Gondomar Auditorio when the city was the capital of European art in 2001.
From December 2007 to March 2008,artworks exhibits in Japan, cities ofSapporo, Tokyo, Nagoya, Kobe, Kyoto.
