Description This painting was inspired by a snapshot of a painting by an unknown artist in Italy. Its simple portrayal of the betrayal of Christ is explained just by the faces of Judas and Jesus. The panel--wood birch 'nested' (with a wood frame on back, for dimension), is painted on the sides, approximately 7/8' deep, so there is no need for a frame.
