Description One of the few remaining wild lakes in my area that haven't been ravaged by logging. Yet. These old tree skeletons seemed to me the elders of the forest, that have reigned over this spot for hundreds of years. The ray of sunlight highlighting them emphasized that mood.

Artist Statement I have always needed to take pictures to capture moments. When I discovered Flickr in 2008, I became totally addicted to photography. It is so rewarding to express my appreciation and awe of the beauty of our precious planet through my photographs. Sometimes I take people pictures too, but mostly landscape, flora and fauna.
