Artist Statement My Mom taught me how to create! From a young age I would sit near my mom while she cooked, sewed, or created a craft!

My love for doodling started when I was a young girl. I would sit with my mother and keep her company while she sewed. I became attracted to the beautiful artwork from the patterns so while she sewed, I would draw and try to recreate the beautiful images!

I have my Associates of Fine Arts degree but at the time couldn't pursue a career in the arts. As time went on, careers, marriage, and family priorities took me away from my passion of creating. Now, 30 years later, I have returned to my first love and rediscovered my passion of drawing, painting, and creating and am sharing it with the world in the form of Dragonflys and Roses.
