Description A baby green dragon finally hatches from it's egg into the big wide world. Thankfully, in these early scary days mummy is there to make sure he feels safe, protected and loved. This wonderful scene of these two great creatures meeting for the first time is watched over by a majestic starry sky which shines in through the cave mouth in which both dragons, mummy and baby, reside.

Artist Statement I live with my wife just outside the small Portuguese village of Vilamoura. Well, it used to be a small village, lol. Anyway, we live in a very rural area and the surrounding vistas are both beautiful and inspiring. The images captured from this area all year round change in remarkable ways and in the past we've both taken photos and created works of art just for our own pleasure. Now on here we've decided that it might be fun to share the things we've seen with the larger world. I'll be posting new images slowly but surely so there will always be something new to see in our gallery.

Aside from that, and probably more importantly, I've been doggedly working on my own art pieces and they fall into the category of "Fantasy or Funny" so if you're inclined in either of those directions then please check out my gallery under that name.
