Description This is a black and white photographic image of part of the structure of The Iron Bridge in Ironbridge, Shropshire, England. The Iron Bridge crosses the River Severn and was the first arch bridge in the world to be made of cast iron. The bridge was finally completed and opened on New Year's day in 1781. This abstract captures just one small sun bathed area of the bridge structure against a black background.
