Description This lovely image was taken after a huge flood had washed the tree downriver. For about 2 months it was the favourite perch for many birds, including this day when there are 12 pelicans 2 black shags, 3 pied cormorants and a migratory fly by.Then another flood came down and moved the tree a little so it was no longer parallel to the bank, and from that day not one bird would sit on it! Tweed River below Tumbuglum Bridge, NSW, AustraliaThis photo was selected as a finalist and exhibited entry in the inaugural Tweed Naturally mixed art exhibition in 2007.
Odille Esmonde-Morgan, TERRANORA NSW Member Since February 2010 Artist Statement I am a mature female photographer and have been creating images all my life. I love the magic of digital with the ability to come home and see what I have captured that day – and to know whether or not I need to revisit. Landscapes are my passion but I also shoot sports including surfing, leisure activities, real estate, architecture, weddings, and any type of photograpohy for which I have the equipment. And I will hire (at the client’s cost) special equipment if needed.
I shoot with 2 professional Canon bodies and a range of ‘L’ lenses, and a digital medium format Hasselblad with 3 lenses, so you are getting top quality and resolution in your images, every time.
If you are on the Tweed/Gold coasts or in the hinterland, I can cover your event or request.
