Description Colorized photo from 1916Original title: Making dollsPhotographer: Bain NewsLocation: GermanyIt's a real labor of love, making each doll, adding hair and creating a personality that will live with the doll forever. The toy maker adds their own touches and imbues the doll with life, each time one is assembled. One day this doll will make a child very happy. All she wanted was to be played with more than anything. Then one fateful day, a hundred years later, she could hear noises. The wall was being removed, daylight shined on her face for the first time in a long while. The doll was filthy, her face cracked, missing an eye, hair half gone, not a good sight. So when the owner of this old house saw this doll, th
