Artist Statement Grew up in the Midwest. First twenty-five years I was surrounded by corn. Then I moved to the Washington, DC area and found myself surrounded by marble, glass, concrete, people and politicians. There is a misconception that politicians are people. After thirty years of this I decided it was time to move to Florida. I feel it has been the best move I ever made. I live in a world that gives the small town feeling I had in Illinois with the large city culture. I feel like I am at last home.
