Artist Statement My name is Michael Montesino. I was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic on the 21st of March, 1988. I stared drawing at the age of 8. I did my first real painting at the age of 15. Currently I am 21 years old and live in New York City. I love living here, New York is a great city filled with so many people of different races and backgrounds.
I'm inspired by everything in the city, by my homeland and its people, and by my family.
I have never shown my work to the public, but I have always wanted to. I joined imagekind.com to hopefully sell and showcase some of my work to people who enjoy art.
