Raquel De La Viña, Madrid Member Since December 2007 Artist Statement "Why do I paint? I paint because it makes me think about nothing. When I paint the only things that exist are my painting and me". That could be a good phrase to describe what I feel when I take the paintbrush. I spend the whole time unconscious about life.
I started to draw when I was a teenager. I am self-taught. Or not exactly. I mortgaged my pocket money during years to buy a Tom Keating's set of VHS tapes and books. I am still learning, but no more with these tapes.
