Artist Statement After earning a B.A. in art with a concentration in drawing and painting, I have spend the last thirty-plus years as a graphic designer and illustrator. My illustrations have appeared in numerous national publications including The Saturday Evening Post. I also illustrated eight books in the "Draw It" series, step-by-step drawing books for children, published by Heinemann Library.

Always planning to get back to fine art, a plein air workshop with Marcia Burtt in 2006 re-ignited my passion for painting. My interests include landscape and the figure. In the past couple of years I've made multiple trips to Michigan and Hawaii to paint.
