Artist Statement I am a self-taught artist. I starting painting a few years ago, trying my hand first with oils and then switching to acrylics, which I now work in exclusively. My subject of choice these days is the horse, which I find to be a fascinating creature of power, sensitivity, and strength. For me, the horse represents freedom and teaches me compassion and patience. For the most part, the originals of these paintings were custom commissions. I am available to create custom commissions of horses and other animals.
