Artist Statement I'm a portrait artist and cartoonist with 36 years experience
I enjoy Art. I draw in pencil, Charcoal and Pastels. I started drawing at the little age of 6 yrs old. I remember I started out by tracing coloring books and the moved onto freehand comics from the newspaper. I drew cartoons most of my career and started on portrait drawing in 2010.
Many artists have a style of their own. Most artists have some type of formal training or education in art.
What makes my style unique, in my opinion, is, I had no formal training or education in fine arts or art of any type.
I started out with tracing paper and the rest became history to my own unique style you see here on the site.
