Artist Statement Jay Lee an international entrepreneur has found renewed inspiration to create art. “It's never too late to do what you want in life and never listen to negative people. How amazing it is to create for the pure enjoyment not for approval of others.”

Korean American youngest of 6 siblings understands the struggles of life. Parents survived the rule over Japan and the Korean War. Food was scarce and hunger was a daily occurrence.

Immigrated to California in 1971 and the new life was much the same in many aspects. Parents struggling trying to provide for their 6 children, dealing with cultural and language barriers and stress was constant.

Christianity was later introduced and started experiencing a new life. God's manuscript of love left to humankind to teach. "We are God's Poiema, God's workmanship, God's Poem."

“Words quite often seem limited when expressing deep internal and spiritual emotions. The art medium has provided a way to express myself through a visual form. Much of my art work focuses on realities of Life through the human heart. I hope to represent a different expression in composition, color, texture, and symbolism."

A Contemporary Abstract Expressionism.
