Artist Statement I was born and raised in Belmont, Massachusetts. After high school I spent six months in Bourget du lac, France studying the various forms of painting under Mr. Henri Jeandet after which I went on to graduate from the University of Massachusetts with a BA of Fine Arts. I have since had my work in art galleries in New Haven, CT and five galleries on Cape Cod as well as private collections throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. I am a member of the Cape Cod Art Association and the Falmouth Artists Guild at which I have entered my work in a variety of exhibitions. I have recently won an award for my painting, Ocean Colors, from the Cape Cod Maritime Art Society. I have received a 2nd place award for my painting "Provincetown Beach" from Chicago Institute of Rehabilitation. I have also received Honorable Mention for my painting "Gathering Storm" from an online artists site. I have been painting for over 30 years.
