This gallery contains images of Polaroid SX-70 manipulations. The image is created by manually manipulating the surface of the film using small tools such as crochet hooks and sharpened (but not too sharp) wooden dowels. Over the years, I have created many of these painterly images. Sadly, Polaroid no longer manufactures this film and no other film offers the ability to create manipulations.
