Most of these were drawn in 1984 in Beloit College during the winter hiatus. I was alone in a very cold house with 2 dogs (not mine) that I was taking care of and I decided to fill up a couple sketchbooks I had. I drew a scene completely, decided what should be changed and drew each scene again and again til I was satisfied, sometimes drawing it a dozen times before I was happy with it and other times only 2 or three.
