Photomontage is the technique of combining photographs or parts of photographs to form a new composited work of art. This technique can be traced back as early as the mid-nineteenth century. Today, artists have the luxury of using digital images and image processing software to create photomontages. Dennis photographs a variety of subjects including still lifes, cityscapes, landscapes and portraits. He is never quite sure which images will be used in a photomontage until he gets into his digital studio. It is here that the photomontage comes to life and the magic begins.
