These paintings were all done on canvas with acrylic. Painting is a deeply personal experience for me. I've been told I appear to be dancing with colors and brush more than painting and you can see the movement in the brushstrokes. My technique is a process of creating layers of colors, often mixing the paint with various mediums (heavy gloss, glass beads, aluminum, etc.) then pulled, smoothed or scraped away in various stages of drying to reveal the colors, shapes, images or fields of pattern presented. Each original painting is very textured, with some areas rising higher off the canvas than others. Please contact me for pricing and availability for originals/commissioned work.
