Living in Maryland, not far from Washington, DC, gives me the benefit of going downtown whenever I want. I especially enjoy the monuments at night. After the tourists have left, you basically have these places all to yourself, aside from the random security guard. The feeling of the monuments at night is far different than in daytime. I also like to balance the urban with the rural, so I'll be mixing in some work from some nature preserves and parks around my area.
