Stories unfold, in the voices of the dead and gone: corroded architecture, chained abandoned bicycles, crumbling brick encased in stratified paint, cardboard bedrooms on Wall Street grates, rain-slicked blacktop and nighttime neon beacons of civilization. Bounce and roll, O sentient pinball; reflect your surroundings, hours per play, until the last late subway delivers you past turnstile flippers back to the hole you call home. Or something like that.
