randomiCity: is the spiritual state achieved while ambling through the urban grid with no appointment or agenda, bouncing left or right as dictated by whim or traffic light or shadow cast. Stories unfold, in the voices of the dead and gone: corroded architecture, chained abandoned bicycles, crumbling brick encased in stratified paint, cardboard bedrooms on Wall Street grates, rain-slicked blacktop and nighttime neon beacons of civilization. Bounce and roll, O sentient pinball; reflect your surroundings, hours per play, until the last late subway delivers you past turnstile flippers back to the hole you call home. Or something like that.
