When I do a still life, it's usually of something that to me has the Wow Factor. Something where the smell, temperature, colors or textures of the moment seem to make that moment memorable to my observant little mind. A lot of times It may seem a mundane subject, but I'll see a shadow pattern or something that makes me want to "feel it, smell it, and wear it, in paint.
