ornamental arted based on ancient Celtic and Scandinavian knotwork art. The basic designs are made in black inc and scanned afterwards. Then all parts of the images are layered and colloring is added by adding photographs. E.g. the fur of a deer could originally be a picture of a patch of skin of my dog. Complex vegetal patterns can be filled in by the picture of a single leaf.
