Artist Statement My name is Joel Blazer. I have been creating visual art for a little over a decade. My early influences were comic book art, Egon Schiele and alot of the early nineteenth century german artists. In 2001 i met Eric Lowenstein and became extremely into graffiti art, street art, alternative media/surfaces to paint on. I went to Cincinnati State technical school for a degree in graphic design thinking i could do that. I currently work for a printing company in the pre press department. I really enjoy it and this job really influences the direction of my fine/visual art. I am married and have a daughter and another child on the way. the most important thing in my life has been believing that Jesus Christ was who He said He was.
