Artist Statement Welcome to Altered Lives Art!

My name is Susan Stopinski and basically I
"create stories one life @ a time"

I have been privileged to walk many pathways with my awesome family, friends and even a stranger or two who have helped shape me into the person I am today.
There comes a time when you step into the crossroad of life and something clicks within you where you just know which way to turn. For me, I knew it was to pick up a paintbrush and begin to paint the stories that were creeping around my soul, looking for a place to rest. They have found it within the peices of colored torn paper and acrylic paints that make up the collages I create.

I hope you will enjoy my art and the "micro-flash fiction/non-fiction" stories that accompany them. Perhaps you shall even see yourself or someone you know amongst the words and colors!
