Artist Statement Tabitha L. Borges
Fine Art Photographer and Freehand Artist/Painter
Born in Munich, Germany raise in USA, with a wide range of experiences in the arts. I am dedicated to producing high quality art and will take special requests. Have been greatly influenced by Michael Parkes, Claude Monet, and other surrealistic artists. My biggest influence as a Photographer/artist is my grandfather, recently deceased professional photographer Robert Thompson. At age eight, he bought me my first camera and spent countless hours encouraging my art. Because of his encouragement I have a great way to spend time, drawing, painting, and taking photos of my favorite subjects, people, and nature. Because of my photography and art I have learn that an artists speak not only to people they speak for them. Art is a weapon against ignorance and hatred and an agent of public awareness. Art opens new doors for learning, understanding and peace among people and nations.
