Description These azaleas were captured while a friend and I were walking our dogs. Spring has certainly sprung in Okinawa! I like the pink, the sun shining on the petals and how your eye moves in a horseshoe pattern when you view this photo. (Atleast mine does)
Keri Lee, Okinawa, Japan Member Since April 2007 Artist Statement A BIT ABOUT ME: I am married to a wonderful young man that serves in the US Air Force. We currently live on an air base in Okinawa, Japan. Japan is incredible. It is filled with beautiful, intelligent people, marvelous landscapes, tropical flowers and exotic cuisine. While I have lived here, I have tried to make the most out of my experience by living the life, seeing the sights, eating the food and mingling with the locals. I will be sad to leave, but at least I will be able to take with me the lovely memories and the pictures I have taken.
MY PHILOSOPHY: I absolutely adore photography. I look at the world a little differently than some and I love that through photography, I can capture that and share it with other people. I like to keep things simple and to let nature speak for itself. I do not alter my images using photo editing software.
