Edward Morden, Venice Member Since June 2013 Artist Statement I was raised in Rialto California and now I live in Long Beach California. I focused on fine art studies through my early years in college. Most of my early influences were latin mural artist. At age 19 I got a chance to take a semester to study at La Academia de San Carlos. I returned to California and began studies in graphic arts and eventually got a BFA in Graphic design. I worked at a local advertising agency for a few years and did some video production. I worked at LATV for a 5 years where I met many creative people. Many of us felt the urge to get back into being creative for ourselves. This art is just that. I like to think of them conversations with myself.
